Optimum Nutrition Review

Optimum Nutrition is a supplement company that makes many top-selling, premium quality supplements. Not only are their supplements top-notch but they are priced extremely competitively. You will not find another supplement brand that makes supplements of the caliber of Optimum for the same price.

I’ve tried many of their supplements and I am always happy with the results. In addition, I always feel like I got a great deal. I really like the fact that they have standards and integrity. They don’t put out any low quality supplements and they don’t put out overpriced supplements like a lot of their competitors do. MuscleTech, in my opinion, is an example of a company that makes tons of overpriced products that don’t even work that well.

Take NaNo Vapor Hardcore or Anabolic Halo, for example. Both of these supplements have a two mile long list of ingredients and you’ll spend half of your paycheck on them but they aren’t even close to being the best supplements in their categories.

MuscleTech does lots of “university testing” and “double blind studies” so they can talk about how their product increases strength by 413%, or some ridiculous amount. It’s all just marketing and more marketing. If MuscleTech does come out with a supplement that I think is a good deal and it works well, I’ll have no problem with recommending it. As of now, I haven’t come across one that falls into both of these categories.

This is a review about Optimum, but I was just using MuscleTech a comparative example to show what I think a good supplement company is versus a not-so-good supplement company. Optimum sells supplements with short, simple ingredient lists. Their creatine, for example, is just creatine monohydrate at a great price.

Other Supplement companies come up with “creatine matrixes” that have 4 or 5 different types of creatine in them. If you want to do that, I think it’s fine to experiment with different types of creatine but don’t charge between 10 and 20 times the price of monohydrate for them. In many categories Optimum’s supplements blow all the competitors away. For example, they have the best and most popular protein powder out there. It’s a great price, Its tastes great, and it works even better. I’ll give you a list of some of the best products Optimum makes;
