I’m going to keep this article very simple. There’s always a lot of hype when new bodybuilding supplements hit the market. Most of the time, it’s just hype and the majority of these supplements contain the same ingredients as those already out there. They usually contain amino acids, creatine, and energy boosters.
We already know about these, but the manufacturers usually try to give these new products a flashy label, they market the heck out of them, and tell you that they can increase your muscle mass by XXX%. Don’t get me wrong- amino acids and creatine work great for building muscle but you don’t need to pay top dollar for a “proprietary blend” when you could just buy each of them separately at a fraction of the cost. Here is a list of the most common amino acids used in various bodybuilding supplements:
Beta-Alanine (beta amino acid)
Here is a list of the common types of creatine you will see in most creatine supplements:
Creatine ethly ester
A list of energy supplements and metabolism boosters found in pre-workout and fat burning supplements:
1,3-Dimethylamylamine (an herbal extract)
Now, I’m going to recommend a list of all of the supplements you’ll probably need and the best one in each category:
1.Whey protein powder -Optimum Gold Standard 100% Whey
2.Glutamine- Optimum Glutamine
3.BCAA’s- Optimum BCAA capsules (Leucine Isoleucine and Valine)
4.Pre-workout-Ja3ked, 1MR or Assault
5.Creatine Monohydrate (if you’re into taking creatine)- Creapure
Those 5 are, bar none, the most important supplements when it comes to bodybuilding. There are other supplements that can help you get results in the areas of building muscle or burning fat, but start out using the supplement stack I listed above and I guarantee you’ll love it!
